synopsis: This was one episode from a series that's all about the 1990s; this one is about the formation and rise of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

impressions: This episode did a pretty good job showing how the UFC was created, and how/why it rose to become an empire. There was a side quest into 1993's UFC 1, and a second side quest into the history of early champion Ken Shamrock. All in all, this one did a great job filling in the "how" and "why" of the UFC, for those who want to know.

acting: n/a but all of the interviews are sincere and informational

final word: Great account of one of the few interesting pieces of the decade of the 1990s.
